The Commodore 64 Turns 30 Years Old Today
« on: August 01, 2012, 07:06:21 pm »
Today is the Commodore 64's 30th birthday! Geeks of the world rejoice!  :D

The Commodore 64 was one of the most popular 8-bit computers of the 80's and early 90's.

I grew up on the Commodore 64 and the Commodore Amiga.

Maniac Mansion - the first ever SCUMM game - was released in 1987 for the Commodore 64. So later LucasArts games and point and click games in general all have their roots in the humble Commodore 64.

The BBC sees what happens when the kids of today try out 30 year old technology - kids of today are so spoiled.  :P
