Zak McKracken: Between Time and Space
« on: October 29, 2014, 05:00:03 pm »
I've been waiting quite a few years for the English version of this fan game. (Right now, there's only a German version) They are in process of finally wrapping up the English version and are planning to release it around the end of the year.

Has any of our native German speakers played it? Is it any good? (I hope it is, and that I haven't been waiting for the past 5+ years for an English version if it's going to be a lousy game.  :P )

one of our native german speakers has indeed played it and liked it. But I will probably also play the english version as they added tons of stuff.
I still have this uncertain feeling Indy 7CoG will be cooler though, once it is released in the far future  8) :hat:

Maybe that will be the game that will make me friends with Zak (I never got to go past the first few screens for some reason -- too "Maniac Mansion"-awkward-obsolete-like)

Zak was the first SCUMM game that I played, so it has a special place in my heart.  :D
