Again it has been a while.

Been busy with a lot of C64 stuff, children's music and music for this:

I guess making a BL C64 demo was not such a good idea as the Indy game is PC only.

Maybe make a PC demo or are previews of Indy enough?

Anyway do you still need a musician?

Greets,
Yogi.

I think it will also be a good idea to make a pc demo with some gfx we already have.
Do you guys agree?

Will ask JSL about the logo.

whatever you do, you MUST record it an upload it to youtube. Even if it's with your smartphone.

Good idea! :)

P.S. Do you guys mind if JSL converts an Indy pic from the internet and adapts it?

Here's the scroll text that I came up with:

There's both a Word and plain .txt file in the Mediafire folder:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/wn7011nwff64o/Demo_Scroll_Text

Let me know what you think.

It's very well written! It would fit the demo good for sure! :)

Definitely sounds like demo / scener type music.  :D

I'm hoping that there will be at least a brief Indy theme fanfare worked into the demo somewhere.  :D  :hat:

>OK! I can start with the Indy theme.

BL logo and 7 Cities of Gold logo would be good. Is the background going to be in multicolor character mode or bitmap mode?

>Will ask JSL.

Do you want me to talk about who did what in the demo? If so, can you give me a credits list?

Or are you going to take care of that?

>I think we'll do that ourselves.

By the way - is this demo going to run on both NTSC and PAL machines?

>I'm discussing this with Ronny/SOS. I also send a mail to Roland Hermans (NEO) about this.

Also, thanks for offering to do this demo!  :)

>Yeah nice idea huh!? :)
Must say that Ronny is pretty busy and my music needs instruments done by Roland.
So it will not be finished soon. But we'll get there!

CU!

Well the first part of the music is very atmospheric.
Here you can find a preview:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/98085752/indy%201st%20part.mp3
After this part I planned an uptempo Matt Gray inspired part which consists of 2 tracks electric
guitar sounds like in Tim Follin's C64 Led Storm title music.
What a luxury to be able to use 9 tracks!

The pic shows Indy which fills the screen 2/3 with a moving sprite logo on top of it so there is some room
for text in the right side of the screen.
Maybe something with BL and 7 Cities of Gold or so?
Plus there will be a border scroller.

The text may be as long as you want and a simple .txt file will do like in Notepad or so.
You must try to make people enthusiastic to help you guys with your coming pc game.
So some info of the 7 Cities of Gold game must be in it. Some info about BL etc. etc.

OK! Till next message.

Yogi.

Hey guys,

It has been a while!

Ronny of SOS, JSL and I are planning to make a C64 demo consisting of an atmospheric 3SID tune, nice picture of Indy problaby with sprites and a scroller named Binary Legends is Recruiting.

I guess you guys are interested in this and want to write a text for in the scroller?

OK! Later!

Yogi.

Ok! I didn't write many orchestral tunes but you can find an orchestral rmx here:

http://remix.kwed.org/download.php/4384/Yogi%20and%20Neo%20-%20More%20Than%20Meets%20Small%20Symphonic%20RMX.mp3

And I wrote a short tune for a horror game (La Carretera) which is being developed and you can find on:

http://sites.google.com/site/joachimwijnhoven/excerpts

Along with other examples of my music.

Maybe you can describe me a scene of the game for which I'll make music and see if you are satisfied?

Later!  8)
